Following a competitive pre-qualification process SCAPE Construct was appointed by private client to deliver a 19,000 sqft Cat A fitout which included full strip out and fitout of four floors; additional CAT A+ suite; redesigned reception area and upgraded end of trip shared amenities in the basement and ground floor, which included bike storage, showers, lockers and changing facilities.
The client wanted to optimise their asset and speed up the occupancy process for new tenants to move in and tailor to their specific needs. This Grade A office space located in the heart of Kings Cross is a perfect location to appeal to businesses who are looking to let a flexible space immediately.
With the aim of creating a ‘blank canvas’ for new tenants, we developed a new modern design brand identity for the building incorporating a subtle autumnal colour palette, using timbers and greens as an identifiable design detail echoing throughout reception, lift foyers, amenities, and Cat A+ office floor. This colour palate allowed us to maximise natural light and with the use of additional biophilic features we were able to increase occupant connectivity to the natural environment which create a sense of calm throughout the building.
This 16-week project was delivered on time, in budget and resulted in a very happy client and project team who we thoroughly enjoyed working with.
